Kick Drugs is proudly organised as part of the Kerala KayikaKshamatha Mission, a flagship mission by the Department of Sports, Government of Kerala, aimed at enhancing the physical and mental well-being of citizens through the power of sports.

The campaign is collaboratively led by the Kerala State Sports Council, the nodal agency, in association with the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, working together to implement impactful, community-centered programs that encourage active lifestyles and social responsibility. Through this united effort, Kick Drugs amplifies its mission to create a healthier, drug-free Kerala. One stride at a time.

About Kick Drugs

Kick Drugs is a state-wide campaign launched under the Kerala Kayika Kshamatha Mission, by the Department of Sports, Government of Kerala. The campaign is spearheaded by the Kerala State Sports Council, the nodal agency for the mission, in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.

At its core is Kerala’s largest connected marathon, uniting participants from across all districts in a symbolic and physical stride against drugs. Through community events, school outreach, and volunteer-driven activities, the campaign promotes a healthy, active, and addiction-free lifestyle.

Kerala, with its natural beauty, strong cultural roots, and dynamic youth, is taking a united stand against the growing challenges of drug and screen addiction. As part of the Kerala Kayika Kshamatha Mission, the Kick Drugs campaign promotes the idea that sports and active living offer a powerful alternative to harmful habits.

Spanning 20 days across 14 districts and over 50 event locations, this campaign aims to revive public spaces, reconnect communities, and encourage a healthier lifestyle. Through marathons, flash mobs, cultural performances, and sports activities, the message is clear. In every village and city of God’s Own Country, it is time to bring back the joy of play and "Say YES to Sports and NO to Drugs".
